Daarul Qur'an School was established in January 2005 under the assistance of Wisata Hati Foundation. During that time the school operated on one campus it is in Bulak Santri Pondok Pucung Karang Tengah Tangerang. This school is intended to misfortunate and marginalized people from a range of regional areas in whole Indonesian archipelago.

To create cadres of Islamic scholars in the future equipped with

  • The ability of Tahfidz Qur'an and its best understanding on tafsir
  • Awareness to perform Dhuha prayer, Tahajud, Ba'diyah and Qobliyah, Jamaa'ah on time
  • And best understanding of Islam particularly to the emphasis on above mentioned and the use of giving for himself and others.

Presently operational expenses are supported from several donors collected via Wisata Hati Foundation. As time goes long we perceive that we can't be reliant on donors on and on. For that reason, during January 2008, one campus established and merged in order that this commercial school is able to do cross subsidy to support the first school. In addition, it is the manifestation in response to jamaa'ah of Ust Yusuf Mansur that today's ummah in archipelago is expecting "A good school for the best children in future".

Under the name of Daarul Qur'an International School located on Jalan Tamrin, Ketapang RT01/05 Kel. Ketapang Kec. Cipondoh Tangerang, Banten Province hopefully this school becomes model for others.

Why International?

As we offer students with :
  • Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE),
  • 50% expatriate teachers,
  • and Home stay in Australia year 3.
By the end of study they will obtain both Cambridge Certifiacte and National Certificate from Diknas.
 
What are the learnng strategies?
Our school empasizes on :
  • Comprehensive study of Wisata Hati and Tahfidz Qur'an along with Ust. Yusuf Mansur.
  • IT based learning project in which students are assigned to use laptop for their learning purposes.
  • Hot spot is accessible everywhere for students to study
  • And HOT or Higher Order Thinking is used in learning process to achieve higher standard level of their understanding in subjects offered.
  • Beside, Active learning, learning styles and teaching styles are our references to deal with a number of different background of students in study.

The school philosophy is that students should strive for excellence, equity and a strong moral ethos. We aim to provide a positive, stimulating and accepting environment in which students can develop individual qualities and abilities without strong or detrimental peer pressure.
